Ana Espinosa, BCBA, O.T.R/L

President, Founder

Mrs. Espinosa founded IRC in October of 2000. She received her bachelor’s degree in 1992 in Colombia from the Universidad del Valle in occupational therapy and has been in practice since. She became a Certified Associated Behavior Analyst in 2003, and she completed her master’s in psychology in 2014 at Kaplan University. She then became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. It is very rare to find an occupational therapist that is also a BCBA, and her unique education allows her to provide exceptional care to her patients.

She is constantly searching for the best treatments for children with disabilities, and she integrates all her knowledge, love and dedication to the children he serves. Ana is also a Certified Interactive Metronome provider and an Early Intervention Specialist. She has given lectures to the Head Start program teachers in Miami, as well as talks and seminars about early development and developing behavior in the schools she serves. She has been working with children with disabilities for over 26 years, and has found her passion in Autism care and alternative therapeutic methods.

Ana says, "The best part about the job is helping kids and their families overcome their difficulties and lead happier lives." In her free time, she enjoys reading up on healthy eating and holistic medicine, and loves to spend time with her family.
